WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF RECEIVING A CROWN?

The first step is preparing the tooth. This might involve reshaping the tooth so the crown will fit, removing any decay, or building up the tooth’s structure so it can support a crown. 

Next your dentist will take an impression of the tooth so your crown will be customized to fit. While your crown is being made, you may be able to wear a temporary crown to restore your tooth function in the meantime.

Lastly, your dentist will place the permanent crown! You’ll have the opportunity to make sure you like how the crown looks and feels before it’s secured in place. We’ll make sure you have a crown that will keep your teeth healthy and your smile bright!
